First game had an interesting premise with a great narrative performance from ol’ P. Stewart. Second(third; LoS2)game killed my hype with disappointment. The writing in that annoyed the hell out of me.

I am not really objective because I would recommend netrunner to everyone that even have a small interest in games.

It also means that while a “booster” for an LCG tends to have a higher up-front cost, it’s way, way cheaper in the long run than a traditional CCG/TCG.

Just a small correction, you don’t but booster a packs for netrunner. Each month or so they release a new small set of cards and you buy them and that is it. No cards are rare and everyone have the same cards. The focus is on playing, not collecting.

So the difference between LCGs and CCGs is that the “boosters” are basically mini expansion sets. Containing a playset of fifteen cards, that are released every few months. All the boosters from that set have the same cards in them so there’s no “gambling” on cards and there’s no rarity.

Okay, so I haven’t played any of these, but I thought the point was to not need the booster sets and they were self contained? I am fuzzy on how these differ from traditional TCGs then?

I still don’t have an answer whether his gun is his actual hand or not.

Castlevania’s music holds a very special nostalgic place in my heart but I really loved the music in LoS. It’s not as toe tapping as the classic tunes but there’s some really great, emotional orchestral pieces in there that just get me every time. It’s not great CV music if you’re looking for classic CV music but it’s

Granted I haven’t played LoS2 (I get the impression that it was alright but judged too harshly) or Mirror of Fate (wasn’t it generally deemed “decent”?) but the first LoS is up there with my favorite games. It was like a Castlevania directed by Guillermo del Toro with amazing music and VOs and an emotional story. I

Hey, hey. Don’t forget Metroid: The Animated Series and Metroid Beyond.

I understand that, that’s not my point. I’m not saying remakes are inherently bad, just that people might of reacted poorly to Zero Mission in 2004 because it wasn’t necessarily a new game. This was in response to the comment about looking at Zero Mission’s sales.

One of the things I have heard most often from fans over the years is: “I want a Metroid II remake, because the GameBoy game needs an update like Zero Mission.” Also, we are getting a new game in Prime 4.

Probably the same reason I kept playing Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volley Ball. I can’t put down collecting games! It was soooo bad, but I had to get every damn bathing suit, and flower, and every other piece of crap in that shop! I’m assuming Bullet Bill here had a similar completionist compulsion with Other M.

Maybe people wanted a new Metroid game over a remake? There was huge excitement in the time of Prime 2 and 3's release and many, many rumor and excitement over the “Metroid Dread” project. Hell, even Other M had excitement leading up to it, because it was more Metroid. I honestly feel that Samus Returns is so well

What would the versus game be? Samus vs Alucard: Dawn of Metroidvania?

Samus begins, showing her growing up and getting the suit from the Chozo. I’d preorder that right this second.

Samus Chozo Asylum now with Ridley Trophies!

If this means another sudden rush of Metroid games then the next one should be called Metroid Forever.

To make sure it’s so, so bad, I assume.

If it’s so bad, why did you get 100%?
