Is it abuse if the company that made the game wants to stop him from making money out of their content? Even more so, they want to make sure no one thinks there is any kind of endorsement of his brand from them.

Unless I missed something, this isn’t an abuse of the DMCA. You may not like the way it’s being used, and you would be free to make an argument for why the law is bad or should be changed, but calling it abuse seems like a legal assertion that doesn’t hold water.

They now relate hours played during a quarterly period and Legion has more of those than the game has ever had. Probably a better metric to measure (people actually logging in and playing your game) than how many Chinese licenses are getting activated for use in a gold farming operation.

I never once expected flying in Argus as past patch zones never did besides Tanaan and that was mostly since it was supposed to be release content and was attached to the continent (with the actual patch island, Faralhon, being cut). I don’t find the zones that bad to navigate as some make them out to be and the zones…
