“torque that would tear most cars apart” being a 1913, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was an earth-shattering 200 lb-ft or something.

(I think you replied to the wrong comment)

It must depend on which you play first. I started with DS2 and found it challenging but doable. DS1 was similar in my estimation. Bloodborne kicked my ass.

Old battle droid, you say?

It’s especially sad because I tried out several excellent shows (Person of Interest, iZombie, Arrow and friends) that I would never have even considered if it hadn’t been for what was written about them here.

I find I inevitably have to lift them up to clear the snow away from underneath the arms anyway. Otherwise it packs down and the wipers can’t return to their resting position, and you get misaligned wiper blades when they finally jump their teeth.

Okay, that does sound obnoxious, although some of that just sounds like parking sensors which I wish I had due to my car’s horrible rearward visibility.

Those “fancy” things only tend to beep at you when you’re doing something wrong- changing lanes without a signal, drifting out of your lane, about to merge into a minivan, etc...

Yeah I figured this out during some parking lot shenanigans. I had everything turned all the way off, and yet I could still smell the brakes getting hot.

Seems like the best place to ask: is io9 doing show recaps anymore? I enjoyed reading them after watching episodes to get another perspective, catch any things I missed, etc... but I haven’t really seen any since the new year.

Yeah that one made me scratch my head.

I think it was set in LA, but filmed in Seattle. Still, that part made me laugh. Vancouver is taking over the TV world.

Except when people say “Not too often you hear Skoda and Rolls Royce in the same sentence.”

When the bag is full enough it floats free of the cow and is collected by a circling airplane

I think it has the opposite problem. The taillights forgot to wrap around to the back of the thing. The “tailgate” area just looks bland and void.

It kind of sounds like they aren’t. This new show will look at those two specifically, but they’ll still be a part of AoS

I disagree based on personal experience. I get much more frustrated with long trips as a passenger than as a driver. Driving gives me something to do. Being a passenger is mind-numbingly boring most of the time. I can do 1000 mile days driving no problem, but if I’m sitting on the right? After about 300 miles I just

You know what’s great about physical buttons and knobs? you don’t have to look at them to use them. You know what’s really important when driving? Not looking for buttons and knobs.

To be fair, there was a design meeting for the Mi-24 that went like this: “Okay, for our next product, should we make a troop transport, or an attack gunship?”

“...yes.”

“Which one?”

“yes.”

It still bothers me how that ship’s front section is off-axis.
