“Why didn’t nintendo redesign their controller after the realization of how 3D games worked?”

Sony included a toggle button to turn the analog sticks off because they weren’t sure developers would adopt them and didn’t want players to accidentally move them in those games, that’s how little they knew better.

Silly, the N64 controller was *also* generation-defining. Both Sony and Sega rushed to produce analog controllers in anticipation of the N64 launch.

I remember “Jeopardy!” for N64 used the D-pad, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t play any other games that used it.

I find myself having to do this sometimes when I’m out of milk. Every time I try my best to make it work and every time it just sucks. I truly do not understand where this take comes from.

Swift move by the company, now headed by a co-founder who apparently had no idea about his former boss, fellow co-founder, and likely close friend’s political views (which are hinted at in their games) until now. 🙄

This seemed to be another explainer about “the Alpha myth.” Where’s the part that describes what these idiots think a “Sigma male” is actually supposed to be and what makes it different from their idea of an Alpha?

I was expecting Bad Strange’s ultimate trade-off in order to save Christine to be engineering events so that he loses something of near-equal value to him... the use of his hands, leading to the storyline seen in main MCU.

I thought I was part of the backlash, but the backlash doesn’t describe what my problems with the show are. To me, when the show takes potshots at innocent characters who aren’t in the our circle like Jade the hostess, or discards the Dubai Air storyline as if everything is fine now (not just with the team, but with Ni

I know some people have an issue with people facing consequences years/decades after posting the comments/sexually harassing workers, but if it makes people more mindful in their decisions from now on it probably is a good thing.

Not necessarily low intelligence, but there is definitely a correlation between low-education and low-income

How dare you open up a store in a low-income neighbourhood and sell things for cheaper than other places that’s also close to their home.

The problem is that they muscle out other retail and (especially) grocery stores. They pop up multiple locations in food deserts and become (and aggressively stay) the only option for low-income people.

Honestly, I half expect No Way Home to have Doctor Strange casually drop a line about him being a “Nexus being” like Wanda is, the same in every universe.

It’s also just possible that JK Simmons is just in this movie playing a wholly different character, maybe without so much as a sly nod to his role as JJJ in the Raimi films.

this guy might have roms for some rare games that you can’t find anywhere

Nintendo still has copies, as do literally tens of thousands of other people.

Congratulations, you’ve completed Observational Humor 101 basic task 03. Please see your instructor for the next assignment.

Am I missing something?

Agreed. The Orville tries, and has its heart in the right place, I guess, but it’s really just a superficial homage to TNG, and in every way, including the somewhat unenlightened 90s-era writers room and producers consisting mainly of white dudes, which led to a few disastrous blunders when it came to the show’s
