Hey, I didn't say it was original—in fact, there wasn't much in The Interview that came close to being original. And few things will ever top Hot Fuzz (Point Break references make everything better).

Wait, that wasn't mentioned before? It seemed so clear to me when I was watching it the other night, like an attempt to be meta without fully committing…then again, my husband didn't catch it and I said "but see, it's just like his pitch in the beginning, and I bet there will be a tunnel and boats" and he said "Oh,

It was pretty much what I expected—not brilliant, had a few very good laughs, and overall very predictable (but that's not always a bad thing mind you). It reminded me of "Spies Like Us" only with better jokes. At the end of the day, it's a bit of a throwaway, but I will say this—the photography was pretty gorgeous.

I really like this show. It lags at times but it's pretty consistent in terms of laughs. As fish out of water sitcoms go, this is one of the better ones I've seen in recent years…

Forgive me, but in what universe was Aaliyah "plus sized?"

Huh, I always thought the sexy witches thing was just a reference to the sexy witch trope that we've seen in so many movies (or maybe even a nod to the "hot lesbian witches!" line in Being John Malkovich)

As much as I love the Magnetic Fields, I'm not sure they would do Pale Fire justice. If he were still with us, I would have voted for Captain Beefheart.
