Pig in the City is one of the darkest, if not the darkest ‘kids’ movie ever. Dogs drowning, homelessness, caretakers dying, divorce, and dog hookers. It’s also one of the best movies of the 90s.

It came screaming in out of the empty blue sky and made me believe in movies again.

Also like the character Shadow from Gaiman’s novel American Gods.

It has one of the hardest scenes I ever watched. So, yes.

And you know anyone who thinks Pig in the City is a movie for especially young kids hasn't seen it. It's one of the darkest kids movies of the 90s.

yeah, people shouldn’t pooh-pooh Babe, because it’s not just a kids movie, it’s one of the best kids movies ever.
