That’s not quite how the system works.
That’s not quite how the system works.
I know it goes without saying for a lot of the conservative evangelical crowd, but the cognitive dissonance of “I have great faith in God, and He’s going to punish everyone with His divine might, but I have to make sure I have a closet full of pilot crackers so He doesn’t accidentally smite me, too, because I don’t…
It’s Negative Zone Santa!
Coming from the guy who’d rather see Trump have another turn at destroying the world than see Bloomberg win, your confidence in your intellectual superiority over me is unfounded.
Please don’t make me defend Bloomberg. He’s been a registered Democrat for most of his life. He was a Republican for 8 years as mayor of NYC he switched to Independent during his last 4 years as mayor. He switched back to Democrat I think last year.
That’s why the Democrats need someone who can bridge progressives and moderates but not scare swing state voters and with Bernie and Bloomberg in the race I’m not sure that can happen because one side will be extreme butt sore if their guy doesn’t win.
I don’t like Bloomberg but he is pro choice, pro gay marriage, for the Voting Rights Act. I don’t see him appointing right wing judges. He’s backing Amy McGrath who is running against McConnell. If Democrats take back the Senate there’s no need to compromise.
Geez, do you not realize that whoever emerges as a candidate will undoubtedly be called a racist one way or another, except for Klobuchar or Warren, on the Root or likeminded media? With Klobuchar and Warren, the feminist/glas ceiling factor will most likely trump (no pun intended) the they’re-white-so-they’re-racist-a…
Thats they way!... seems you can simply suck on the corner of that menu to get a taste for the place.
I found this is the best way...
I was being sarcastic tho...
I do not feel good about putting the general public at risk for some private corporation’s beta testing, no matter how small that risk is. Companies have been able to test and validate inventions over the years without putting the general public at risk (see: Most automotive, aerospace, and transport industry…
They’re both rich, old racists from NYC. As far as I’m concerned, the only difference is that one of them can speak in complete sentences
I disagree. You can test an AV for the real world in simulations. It just costs money and time. That’s why startup corporations will accept the cost of a few lawsuits rather than setting up proper test venues like the major car makers.
And everyone knows Bernie doesn’t care about black people, just about getting healthcare insurance for everyone and other things that wouldn’t help black people at all, so I guess it’s Mayor Pete now?
I don’t think any of the charges against Ghosn are for embezzlement. He’s being charged pretty much with tax evasion in Japan. Yeah, there’s shady shit going on; but it’s pretty clear from what’s been coming out that Ghosn wasn’t a lone actor in this thing. Nissan was giving him the money willingly. They just did it…
“This hypocrisy will not be blessed, at least by this order.”
Yeah I don't really want our publicly funded roads to be a part of corporate beta testing
Look, the line was, “As cast members of the motion picture Cats, nobody more than us understands the importance of good visual effects.” That was not a joke necessarily aimed at the artists, in fact, it in my mind, knowing how poor the situation was, due to the director and producers being the cause of the artist…
Same. Have always driven a manual, always will as long as I can. It is just better for the driver in me.
