Vaulter teleportation allows something kinda similar, but with full-sized fleets. Settle a planet, build a Teleportation Portal, get bonuses from the Portal, warp in any fleet from anywhere else with a Portal in a single turn. With a tech they can even retain some movement points, meaning you can use it to attack too.
I also do love how Amplitude have inter-connected all their games. I've a reasonably high amount of respect for them these days, especially after Endless Legend, which came out of nowhere and successfully refreshed the Civ-like genre which has only had Civ for a very long time.
Agreed. I'm not unhappy I got BE, as all Civ games improve dramatically with their expansions, but I'd have hoped to hear of one by now.
I'm figuring more Sid Meiers 4X. Which is annoying, as I want it, but playing 4X games on single-player is always a bit lacking. Still, Endless Space was good (even if I always get my ass kicked).
Outstanding. Applause.
This is their next attempt to make it harder for Western players to get access: physically requiring the player to be in Japan.
Genre: Comedy, Education Premier Date: February 13, 2015 Where to Watch: No Western Simulcast Announced What It’s About in One Sentence: This anime uses the characters of a doctor, nurse and their patients to educate the viewer about various mental diseases (such as Depression, Adjustment Disorder, and Asperger…
That works disturbingly well.
We haven't been to Harmonia yet, as I recall. And they are considered one of the bigger players around. There's quite a bit they could still do with the potential in the world.
Not seeing the lights inside the engine bells in that pic, I'm afraid. But to confirm that they are indeed engines...
It's a great picture, but I wish people would stop adding window lights to spacecraft just for effect. Leaving aside matters of scale, they always make me think that each light is a room (with a space-facing window obviously) and thus signifies internal space in that area.
Heh. I'm a Scot myself, so it doesn't bother me : P
I've encountered Americans confusing that accent for Australian several times before actually. But the fact she is wearing the UK flag makes it a little less explicable.
The Australian flag feature the Union Jack (pop term) in the corner, but they don't use it for themselves, no.
and I pick Tracer, the rad warping Australian girl who did a bunch of cool flips in Overwatch's Pixar-esque reveal trailer.
I mean I saved it myself. As in I "stole" it from you.
That would actually be spectacular. Though I fear GW would not want their Grimdark going anywhere near oversized-eyed moe. Just the association, and inevitable fan genre-splicing, would probably given them fatal apoplexy.
I liked Tie-Fighter, I really did. I loved the expansion of the Star Wars universe it offered, I loved the alternate point of view and it did almost everything it tried to do correctly.
