Excuses for the $39,999 CT going away

the cybertruck absolutely will not start below 40k.   they announced that price back before they jacked the price of the model 3 by 8k.   you know that one isnt staying that low for production.

I don’t ask for much, just a switch near the wheel to manually flip on the brake lights and “brake check” a tailgater without actually risking a crash.

I am really wishing the oil slick feature on British cars was less real.

I have to go with driving the car from my phone, like Pierce Brosnan did with his 750iL in Tomorrow Never Dies.

That looks wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide af !

This is an issue across the market though and not limited to EVs. All manufacturers are getting rid of cars across the board to sell higher profit margin luxury cars and SUVs/crossovers

I took a 1000 mile trip in 1 day last March, from MA to SC, in my EV. It took 18 hours compared to 17 for the last time I did it, in my old gas car. Never encountered a single faulty charger and the car charged at its full capacity every time. It was the most tolerable the trip had ever been for us, gas or electric,

Joe is pushing for CPVs (Coal Powered Vehicles, of course) to keep his personal wealth flowing sufficiently to drive around in his Maserati while preaching fiscal prudence.

They have wings and fly through the air

I had a 2dr GTI and once managed to fit an entire Ikea fold out couch into it

I once hauled a screen door in a Honda Fit. The name checks out.

This is the same problem the NSX has. The GTR and NSX have amazing brand equity among people who grew up with Gran Turismo. The Supra does too, but whereas the Supra is within reach of a good chunk of that generation, the NSX and GTR are aimed firmly at the pockets of someone who would buy a 911 of some variation. And

Amateurs.

I suspect someone still isn’t happy with the cancellation of the Caravan.

I personally love the styling of the last generation of Firebird. Dream-car-as-a-kid love it. Would drive one if they weren’t so overpriced. In yellow with black wheels, so good. So yeah, styling, it’s subjective. Or maybe I have bad taste, Torch is the one with formal art education and experience.

I interned at Aston Martin Americas in fall 2019 while Laura was still president and got to know her during my time there. She is an absolutely incredible, brilliant, inspirational person at the forefront of the automotive industry. It truly pains me to hear about her experience at Rivian, but I only have more respect

His name is literally Car Bro.

I remember when I realized how the “boyz club” worked at my previous employment. At that time, I had to make a choice, join them and become a fucking horrible dick head sociopath or go against the grain and maintain the values I felt were more important than the perks of being in the inner circle.

This is bullshit! I hope she gets the entire company from this.
