I was worried about this, but at least in the JL Wrangler and Gladiator there is also a physical button.

You can also open a Chase Freedom, which is a top-tier no fee card, and transfer the line of credit there.  If you already have a chase freedom, they allow you to consolidate available credit to that card and avoid the ding in available credit and any annual fee.

In reality, there is a high likelihood of the below:

Yeah, but still - tons of car tech at CES, including the Jeep 4xe models. They were mentioned as “will be shown off” on Friday, but every other major outlet has covered them.

Watch 5-6 videos, find a few websites that are subject matter experts, then you know almost enough to criticize half the videos out there.

They wanted Ford Fusion headlights and an inverted Forester Grille...

I can barely scroll the page at this point...

All I’m saying is if you want a specific feature set, Subaru typically has something that will be cheaper. She wanted ground clearance, AWD, GPS, Heated Leather. When shopping those requirements, that was her favorite of everything she tried, and happened to be the cheapest. It beat the CRV, Rav4, Tiguan, CPO X3, Jeep

You typically get more for your money with the Subaru model over the other Toyota or Honda. This effect is magnified at the higher trims:

I usually in the MA/NH/VT area, and I wanted something that would be a bit grippier in snow/wet conditions. It’s difficult to tell what improvement was linked to the tire vs. contact patch vs. any other factors like tire wear, but that seemed to be the forum consensus at the time.

I have the opposite issue - usually my goal is to rip through the OEM tires to the point I can justify an upgrade. On my Wrangler, that was OEM Rubicon BFG’s so I could go to Duratracs, and on my WRX it was the Dunlops to some sweet, sweet, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

Wow... this sounds... shockingly... like what Jeep already does with the cash cows of Wrangler and Gladiator!

I’m just gonna leave this here:

You should see CA when it rains...

That Escape body style stopped in MY2007, but I get what you mean.

I like the iPhone analogy!  Definitely need the extra RAM for low res cat GIFs.

My grandfather had a 1976 Piper Archer II - In the last few years, the flight school that bought it has totally refurbished it. Sad to see it go when he passed, but I don’t have my license or the fun budget to maintain it!  I’m trying to get a reproduction of the log books from when I was a kid, he used to fly me

“it’s also worth pointing out that he isn’t doing anything particularly groundbreaking.”

If I stick with a sedan in a few years, my target will likely be a CPO M340i xDrive with ~35k on it, fresh off lease, for low to mid $30k range (if it follows a similar trend to 335/340s of today).  Also very open to seeing what the next generation of WRX STi brings.

This perfectly sums up AMG models of today versus 90s/00s models.
