Pfft, this law impacts young stupid men only.  No one else in the world appreciates their idiotic hoopties...

Thus, if a lane camper is going right at the speed limit, the only way for people to come up behind him is for them to speed.  Thus, the people behind are breaking the law before they ever get in a position to pass.

Did you even read my response? States may allow temporary speeding to pass, but if you are far behind someone (say, a 1/4 mile), then you are not allowed to speed merely to catch up to them. Thus, if they are going the speed limit, you will never catch them unless you go over the limit, which is not allowed if you are

I don’t see any analogy here.

Where did anyone say anything about driving below the speed limit?  And how does camping the left lane kill people if the camper is not hitting anyone?  If the driver behind the camper hits someone, it is that driver’s fault, not the camper’s.

But if you run into something that was in front of you, it’s your fault almost 100% of the time, no?

“They die by running into things.”  But if you run into something that was in front of you, it’s your fault almost 100% of the time, no?

I never said anything about driving less than the limit.

That is not what I meant though. If someone is going right at the limit, and you catch up to them, you were speeding prior to any notion of passing.  The law says you may speed to pass, but that implies that the car being passed was going less than the limit (since how could you have caught up to them except through

If this article is about busy highways of travel season, then the rules contained here are really not applicable, specifically the left lane rules. If the highway is congested, then person “A” will be legally in the left lane regardless of whether there is someone behind them trying to go faster. This is due to the

You’re driving like a bat out of Hades!

This, but it only applies when there is zero congestion.  When the road is congested, the left lane becomes just like any other.

Did I miss something? Where in the article does it recommend obeying the laws re: speed limits?

Just remember that ALL conservatives are somewhere on this continuum of stupid.  Northcott isn’t unique...

“It’s possibly because we don’t really know of anyone who can pick a Buick Envision out from a Buick Encore or a Buick Encave, but who can say for sure.”

Honestly, I was not there in early 19th century America, so I have no idea whether African slavery was racist or not!

Florida here, screw engine oil I’m fixing the AC!

Gosh, if I was driving someone around in my own (pretty, clean, incredibly key-able) car, I doubt I would antagonize them in any way...

Or Tic Tac Toe, if you don’t hold to the “only winning move is not to play” bit...

This.  WOW was great, but once you defeat a raid for the first time it gets boring...
