They should scrap the points all together. Season standings should be decided by lowest total elapsed racing time, with a cap for DNSs/DNFs.
“The day a car manufacturer designs a minivan to look like a lowered Suburban or Navigator and not like a minivan, will be the day minivans start selling in the super large numbers again (I think).”
The issue likely stems from the fact that speed bumps are designed to be driven over straight. I can totally see turning into this garage, having one tire go onto the sidewalk, and the end of the speed bump scraping the lower control arm.
They all do here.
Soap bar styling was already on the way out by 2001. The main reason the Aztek looked so ugly was that the creases-everywhere styling was carried over from the rest of the Pontiac line, and it just didn’t work on a vehicle with that shape. Many of the same elements showed up on the Avalanche that same year and the…
It’s not really that fine of a distinction. Particularly since AMC had owned Jeep for ten years before building the Eagle. They were already in the business of building SUVs. What the world wasn’t ready for was an SUV built out of a Gremlin.
Given that the Aztek was based on a minivan platform, you could probably throw the Previa on to the list of precursors. The vehicle itself was very much of its time and would have printed money if it wasn’t so damn ugly. Some of the styling cues were pretty firmly stuck in the late 90s, so if anything you could say it…

Definitely check inside the rocker panels.
It’s common up North to see advertisements for “Florida cars”. Sure, they’ve never seen road salt, but there’s a good chance they’ve been through a hurricane.

The hard part is convincing the tax payers to buy twice as many cars.
The Expedition came out a little earlier, but that aired right around the time that the Excursion was released.
Your local dirt track/drag strip/cart circuit/parking lot autocross course.
If awarding race points based solely on qualifying is wrong, then Monaco needs to come off of the calendar.
I can’t remember the last time I saw an Expedition driven by someone other than an overprogrammed white suburban woman.
Allegedly it was even hidden inside of a stage coach in The Quick And The Dead.
Also, that wheel looks like it has cutouts for two tire valves.
