@sauce_fonda: I wouldn't say SvC Chaos was horrible - just not as good as CvS2. Almost any game will look 'horrible' compared to CvS2, especially when they're released at almost the same time.

@OmegaDez: I feel that, if a Versus game brings no new characters into the mix (and by new, I mean characters that haven't been made into fighting game characters before), what is the point?
Meh. Namco and Capcom go together like oil and water. It works for Namco X Capcom, but that was an RPG. Having Tekken/Soul Calibur characters fighting Street Fighter/Darkstalkers characters is just going to be awkward as hell.
@invincible-snake: Reiji, the main hero of Namco X Capcom. The girl beside him is Xiao mu. [en.wikipedia.org]
Oh yeah, here's how you make a Street Fighter movie - remake BloodSport or Lionheart, except with Street Fighter characters. (personally, I'd have the story follow Ryu and Ken as they search for Gouken's murderer - yeah, we're going to keep that Gouken was killed by Akuma. It's just the best story for a movie.)…
As far as I know, all Capcom really does is sell the license to someone.
@RobotGhoul: The shoulder pads/cape/cap all seem to tell me Bison... or Vega, for the nitpickers.
F'en awesome. I love Genzoman's work.
@Bowmister: You'll have to let me borrow those rose-tinted glasses some time.
@Ghinn: You're right, Rock Band is better than Guitar Hero in every conceivable way.
@hameed67: Infinity Ward left because Activision refused to pay them the money they said they would - a practice which strongly parallels the activities of Atari just before the video game crash.
@Marchosias35: From The Escapist:
@hameed67: Kotick has been finding franchises and development studios, buying them outright, squeezing every bit of pocket change he can out of them by putting out numerous poorly crafted and underfunded sequels, and then subsequently abandoning the developers and the franchises after they are no longer profitable.
@Bugoongu: Yeah, you'd think it's easy to fix - but it still happens. It should have been something fixed as soon as it happened, yet here we are, a month and a half later.
@DrakeDatsun: The MadCatz fightpad? Yeah, it requires a dongle.
@DrakeDatsun: It's a little known fact, but yes - Bobby Kotick used to be the CEO of Leisure Concepts, a.k.a. 4Kids Entertainment.
@Stompy1: Apple? Really?
@gaspoweredrobot: Yeah, as Odin said, Enix owns Square, not the other way around.
Well, Kotick may not be good for the gaming industry at all, but he is good for Activision in the short term. He's making money.
@tingyu: Sony is still doing far better than any other company at competing with Nintendo on it's home turf.
