Can’t make it idiot proof. They keep making better idiots.

Some people learn the laws of physics in different ways.

Maybe make driving tests more stringent so only competent drivers who understand what 11 ft 8in clearance means are allowed to drive?

Lockjaw?

Slotted rotors are also good when you do a lot of driving on gravel roads. Nothing sucks more than that sound when you get a tiny piece of gravel stuck between a pad and rotor. A slotted rotor cleans out those pesky problems quickly.

THERE IS AS YET INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR A MEANINGFUL ANSWER

Crashing with Style!

Kids here used to spin too. Then they moved onto something else.

You’ve lost another submarine?

Get a 36x25 drip tray. I then have a piece of plastic that I use to divert oil as I remove a filter. All in all, I leave very little oil behind. I usually need a few Scott Shop Towels to wipe up the miss on the drip tray, but that’s about it.

Am I doing this right?

You also have a market divide. Where are the small, efficient luxury vehicles? When you get a high MPG vehicle, they are mostly econoboxes with none of the things that make a higher end car comfortable. Luxury always seems to mean high performance too.

Survey is complete BS.

Now they just need a pair of gloves that actually work with a touch screen.  Any I’ve tried fail miserably and the ‘paint’ made to put on gloves does not work well either.

1978 - running around while the family was moving into the new house. Came around the old trailer my dad had hitched to the Plymouth Valiant and caught my leg, an inch or so above the knee cap on the jagged sharp rusty edge of the fender. Cut all the way to the bone and left a wound very deep, and about 4"long.

I’ve purchased all my daily vehicles new since the first back in the 80's. All have had a manual transmission. Even the two used vehicles I’ve bought have manuals. Then again, Willys didn’t even offer an automatic back in 1946 and if a Unimog has an automatic, I don’t want to know about it. (^_^)

It’s not the actual slowing, it’s the gear change.  No matter how good you are at rev matching, there will be some slip and wear.  Clutch plates are a LOT thinner than brake pads.

Isn’t that where the computer goes that tells you when there is a manifold danger?
