I know employers have the upper hand. You or me as the employee are largely replaceable. You gain advantage by acquiring skills that increase your value and make it harder for an employer to replace you.

He isn’t being whiteballed. The white ball gets to hit all the other balls. He is still being blackballed because you hit the black ball last. And if he gets signed it will be last. I, a 5'10" 150lb bean pole, will get signed before he does. In my own defense I am fast and scrappy.

I’ve got a hookup where I don’t need tickets. I saw the space shuttle at the Udvar-Hazy a few weeks ago. That place is awesome.

I’ve got a friend who volunteers at one of the museums and she can get me in without tickets (which is awesome). Can also skip lines when I’m with her. I’ve been through the Archives but if this exhibit is new I’ll check it out. Thanks!

Workers already do. An employee is paid part of the value they add to the company. An amount voluntarily agreed to by the employee and company. My agreement with my employer include a bonus which does come out of the company’s profits.
