There is nothing morally wrong with skin lightening creams because there are functional reasons for use (e.g. clearing dark spots caused by injuries, and etc.). In Africa; majority of it is a byproduct left by extreme colonialism and imperialism, but there are some cultures in Africa that have color dynamics independent of westernization. In cases like that both western and African color politics interacting could create toxic environment.

The mental aspect of Racism beyond it makes you feel hurt and bad never gets discussed as much. I'm super pro-healthy talk therapy for kids of color to help deal with the rage, helplessness, depression, and etc that comes with facing racism on a daily level. Most of the solutions we have now involves doing it alone.

That shouldn't be able to happen to a big corporation, that's just sounds super lazy on their part. Especially when there are simple per-cautions to discourage and stop fraud of those kinda nature.
Then if that's the case, businesses that don't protect customer data properly should share the refund burden with the card companies.
The hackers must have gotten a bug into their system for something like that to happen, they need to handle that.
If these companies are going to keep our credit data for a lengthy amount of time, they need to invest in protecting it better, or delete it from their system after getting their money. They can't have it both ways in this situation.
