It’s possibly the case that most vegans don’t wear leather, but assuming that some do, they would probably look for leather which is a byproduct of killing animals rather than the main intended product of killing animals. Also, second hand leather goods might be ok for some.

I don’t see why using one’s privilege to consume less and more responsibly/ethically is such a problem. Maybe if we didn’t waste the world’s resources and perpetuate such food inequality, people in less developed places could also have more choice about the way they consume.

I always find this so nuts when I read it - I live in another country, and 32 is considered young. Is it really the case that in America people in their early 30s are supposed for feel old in some way?
