It is an amazing place but:

It is like a unicorn made of bacon

Those pick ups were cool. They need to bring them back.

Very true but I don’t think many car guys think Hummer when they are thinking about sports cars.

They absolutely used the parts bins of many different manufacturers. They were a small operation and did not have the R & D funds to build everything from scratch. It is sort of like the way Lotus put Toyota engines in its cars.

I would have been able to spell it if they had stuck with the original name Banshee

There is a very basic answer to the question. How many of you have actually been in an AMX or a Javelin for that matter? Now how many of you have been in a Mustang? a Camero? etc. People have memories of certain cars that they try to relive. You also have people who follow a brand, you know the die hard Ford guys etc.

Plate of shrimp!

Flying cars. I know we have been promised that they are 2 years away. We have been hearing that promise for 20 years. Consider this, you know that idiot that cut you off in traffic on your way to work this morning? He was only operating on an X - Y axis and managed to do something stupid and dangerous. Now imagine how

As a society we have the power to make the tabloids back off. If they are acting in a way that is not in line with your personal morals or ethics . . . don’t buy them . . . don’t read the online articles . . . don’t participate. If more of us did that the magazines would follow our example. They are not moral

I have been on this track and drove the R8 and 911. The staff are very professional. They space the cars out so that there is very little possibility of them interacting with each other. They do a great job of judging who they are in the car with, encouraging those who seem to be in the right frame of mind and

Even if the BBC does own the track, is it something that they would want to / need to hold on to in a post Clarkson Top Gear world. Even if they continue to produce a show called Top Gear, without the dynamic trio, I imagine it will be a very different animal.

In the early 90's, as a broke university student I made the foolish decision to buy a 1976 MGB. The front bumper was being held on with bungie straps, the brake master cylinder was bust, the top was in shreds and you could see the road through the floor boards. On top of that, the guy before me thought he was a

Freakazoid . . . that is all

I've said it before and I'll say it again, anybody who illegally parks in a handicapped spot should be given the appropriate handicap to make their use of the space valid.

Simple. Patronize the establishments you like. Don't patronize the establishments you don't like. If enough people don't like the same thing, an establishment goes out of business. If enough people support them, they stay in business but you don't have to go there.

Sigh, everybody needs to chill out a bit. It is a joke. We are not talking about rounding up the gluten people here.

If somebody is so drunk that they are pukeing out a window they are too drunk to consent to anything.

What ever happens between consenting adults is nobody else's business. It is really that simple.

It can be a minefield when people know you are a "car guy". The information you need to dig out of the person asking the question is, are they in pre or post car buying mode. Once you have that figured it will inform the rest of the conversation. If they have bought, no matter what they have bought or how much they
