You had me going right until the /s, excellent work

Most donk?

You know those pictures of a snake, having just eaten an entire rabbit, and you can see the shape of the rabbit inside the snake?

I was trying hard to resist being “that guy” after I read this post, but you beat me to it, haha. So thanks for taking that one for the team.

Most blower motors seem to have a small pipe that takes some forced air and ducts it through the the motor windings and out the fan end of the motor for cooling. That’s the small black pipe opposite the electrical connector. Any schmutz in the ducting would end up in the motor through that. Also your brushes look to

Suddenly all that misplaced saltiness makes sense.

Nah, it was definitely the satellite quality. Truck was a 2017 Platinum F150. That and the USB audio was was totally fine, and as other people have said, even FM radio was way better. Some XM stations seemed to be better than others, but none were what I’d call acceptable.

RE: ‘horrible audio quality”

128kbps is 100% potato, even in the car, yes. I find 192 is good enough. The treble on 128 sounds like it’s coming from the bottom of a well.

Can confirm, I had a thing (not a car) I’d primed, and intended to leave it in primer, but had some leftover clear I’d mixed up for another project, so I threw it over the primer. It looks like that grey. Gloss clear over flat grey, it confuses my eyeballs.

Compared to the 62 Valiant, basically anything is meh.

Here’s what I see:

I present: The Mitsubishi Mirage. They say Wine Red, I say purple.

What I take from this is that GM vehicles inspire more irrational love than most. Which I can understand.

Every time I see a cutlass supreme I instinctively shout “Supreme!” I’m a sucker for basically all 80's/90's GM stuff though. See avatar and username.

Just got back from Ireland, rented an Opel Karl. Not much power, body roll was a bit much, but it had a 5 speed and was tiny and hilarious to throw around. So base model it didn’t have speakers in the rear doors, just speaker grilles with nothing behind them.
