They people who wrote the study weren't in Saskatchewan for the blizzard last weekend. Seriously, though, the odd tornado, and that's it.

I was thinking this, but then tried it out. What is the difference between the app icon on the screen or a widget? Either way, you have to tap once, and start typing. All the functionality, less space. (Actually, the default Google Search is the same, unless you use voice search. Then, yes, the widget is quicker.

And in Canada, Netflix for movies/older TV, no replacement for Hulu that I'm aware of. Hopefully someone will comment here and prove me wrong.

@Richard Milne I'm using a Galaxy S i9000M and a Coby Kyros (thanks The Fu)

And when the furnace cuts in, the shadow of elephant-sized dust bunnies would move across the walls.

Something that makes me crazy in the Android Market. Suppose I search for "green," and get many hits. I decide I wanted to search "Green party." I can't (that I can figure) use the history. I start to type "green" and it pops as a suggestion, so I hit it. It immediately searches. I can't edit/add to the search

Or someone. To merge this thread...

They claim it will stay open, but I guess it's up to whoever buys it. I use Xmarks for me (oops, promised I'd support them, better go pay) and Diigo for public marks.

Isn't the future of Delicious uncertain? I'd heard it was closing, and so did some research. Seems Yahoo is trying to sell it. I've gone Diigo.

Two points, kind of from different approaches. These aren't all directed at shellsonthefloor, but he made his points clearly, and so I combined my responses here.

You can always spot a pessimist, because they ALWAYS claim to be realists.

Not sure I'd call that luck, for any involved, but I get your point.

I've had variable success with DD-WRT's virtual networks. One thing I loved about my old Belkin G, a guest password that just gives pass-through access to the Internet.

And if you're in Saskatchewan, is a bad joke. Still 3 feet of snow.

Off topic. I used to crack hard-boiled eggs, then pick the shell off, until I saw Robert Dinero in "Angle Heart" rolling them on the table. Great movie.

True, I was in a rush, and didn't think it through. Even joking, there is no use for inaccuracy! :)

So my 70 extensions would slow it down by 700%? Or is it x+x*.1 + (x+x*.1).1 + [(x+x*.1).1].1... That would be about a million percent. :)

@ Boogieman Makes sense. I guess that was my point, why add ANOTHER thing to connect, but if, as you say, it's integrated, it becomes seamless. Fair dinkum.

I assumed that, but it seems to me (maybe I'm just noticing selectively) that most Mac/OS X articles have images with it, but Ubuntu articles never have the default wallpaper, and Windows ones seldom.

I like the last two, as well. Guess we're wrong, though. :)
