This condemnation of South Korea's pageant(s) seems a little xenophobic/bigoted to me. All pageants are focused on fitting into a very narrow standard of physical beauty. To say that these women or their culture are somehow worse than pageant culture in any country is pretty ridiculous.
Yep. My school had uniforms— plaid skirts for girls, standard length, and dress pants and polos for boys. No logos, three colors of shirt to choose from. Made it easy and no one could tell who was rich or poor or not on trend or whatever.

You think they're very similar because you haven't been surrounded by Korean faces 24/7 your whole life, so your brain isn't noticing all the subtle individual differences between faces. Especially since they all have the same makeup and hair and all the pictures were shot the same way.
