Actually, there is a point on an electric vehicle. The drag from the handles is large and reduces range. Pulling them in is essential to gaining some miles of range. On an ICE car, no point. 

The performance Model 3 is quick! 0-60 in 3.3. It seems even more powerful from 30 - 60 mph than 0-30.

Agreed. The pads just don’t wear out on EVs. Likely 150k - 200k miles before they need to be replaced.

There already is a camping mode to keep the climate control on all night. I’ve used it when camping in south carolina for the eclipse and it was hot AF at night. Worked great and was nice to have A/C all night!

FYI. The Model S P100D can output over 580 kW in bursts. Maybe 10 - 20 bursts of acceleration before being limited. The cooling system on the S isn’t powerful enough. Not the fault of the battery.

It is actually pretty relaxing in traffic. If I have a choice between a highway route with traffic and a similar time backroads route without traffic, I will choose the highway route. I set autopilot and then relax. It does a really good job driving the car in traffic.

I picked which apartment complex to move in based on which one was willing to install EV charging or already had it. All the new complexes are being built with at least a few EV charging spots. If buildings want to attract higher income renters, they need to offer this amenity.

Gah! He didn’t charge it all the way up before racing the 911 and it was still faster. The P100D will be faster still at 100% charge. More voltage, same current = more power.

No, you would NEVER have a DC fast charger at home. That would be expensive and pointless.
