I just took out the trap under the sink and put a bucket there. The garden loves the food bits.

I do contract work for a large European appliance manufacturer and it’s a known fact in the industry that the environmental savings settings are pretty much useless - they don’t wash hot enough to be hygienic or clean the machine, which means mold and smells can develop. This applies to any appliance with…
I’ve always wondered if they took the environmental costs of manufacturing and recycling of the machine in to account, or just looked at water use per diswashing time. There is also a big difference between doing dishes under a constantly running faucet of doing it in just one sink filled with water.
I think the point was, hand-washing trades using more water for using less energy. and the water is easier to recover/reuse.
You can afford a $60 tab, but no tip? Bullshit.
aw yeah
BOOYAH!
Yeah, I would have never caught that you were being sarcastic at all. Lol. Darn internet! :)
Isn't that exactly what happened to DMX?
You’re surprised he could afford a 25 cent tip, but you’re not surprised he could afford a $60 meal? $60 for one meal as a “grunt” rank suggests his pay must be pretty reasonable. The customer was just being a jerk.
Go to a base. Most of the young guys, low ranks, drive nice cars. Some several. When your rent, food, clothing is all subsidized, and you get a regular pay check you can do pretty good. Plus no taxes on base except federal ones.
My brother-in-law entered the military three years ago. He does just fine. You’re leaving out the fact that housing and full medical are in addition to compensation (without employer deductions for the entire family, deductibles or co-pays). Plus they get groceries cheaper at the commissary. They get discounts on cell…
I mean, clearly the woman ain’t perfect and never was.
IDK. my bffs brother was a marine, just a regular one, and he bought multiple vehicles in the time he was enlisted. They don't pay rent. Not saying they're rolling in it but I think a tip for a server is probably manageable.
Buuuut, if you can afford to pay $60 for a tab, you should give more than a quarter for a tip.
The way things are going these days it's a wonder anyone tips. I feel for the waiter. After all, the soldier was willing to spend $60 on himself. Just say'in.
Dude. You can already read The Scarlet Letter in emojis.
Enlighten me ;)
Well, that escalated quickly.
Yeah, which is why the water savings of a dishwasher are actually nothing impressive compared to the electricity saved by hand washing.
