The parents of a coworker of mine had an unlisted number for two decades. No one called, unless it was family or friends. Then they heard about the Do Not Call list, and immediately signed up.

Have these people read the book? And Anansi Boys? And, perhaps, Neverwhere, because THAT one is fabulous, too

Why is it men that do this??? Men who don’t know these women, have little or nothing to do with these women, who clearly don’t know anything about the health of women at all??? 

...while that is disturbing, that is actually really fascinating. Thank you!

The fact that medical science has come this far to be able to give us these choices is astounding...but it’s also so heartbreaking that the parents have to choose.

Personally? I would have run around like a headless chicken for as long as a headless chicken runs around*, and then followed your example.

I learned how to read on my dad’s Atari computer. I learned how to press buttons on a NES. My family moved, both got stored in the basement, and we quickly discovered our house wasn’t flood-proof.
