I assumed he was involved. He seemed to know that it was going to happen more than once, and he was way too happy that it was happening at all.

Listening to the dude in the video is evidence enough. This dude snapped and lost it.
I think that was sort of his point. Stupid “all flash, no cash” or “30 thousand dollar millionaires” keep buying (or more realistically, lease) these entry and mid level German cars but can hardly afford them. The manufacturers gladly just keep increasing prices while these same people just hand out cash, year after…
Seriously. I can’t help but think about how let down I am every time I sit in one. No, they aren’t horrible, but they certainly don’t inspire any thought of this fabled “German Luxury”. Doors are creaky, leather is stiff, door handles flex like a pool noodle. In fact, the first thing I noticed while getting into 3…
This might be the most boring $325,000 I have ever seen.
This is my new favorite article. I hate the crap Chrysler pushed out during that time, and I despise the fact that they still managed to sell well.
People will realize this in the coming years and crossovers will be super duper lame, just like minivans were after a few years of being around. Take a look around at the literal soccer moms and note what vehicle they drive.
Crossovers are the new minivan
That’s odd, I haven’t heard of many early failures. I drove a LEgacy with the CVT for 3 years, and I will agree that it extremely boring, but I didn’t think it was necessarily a bad transmission. I just think that so many people are used to normal autos shifting that it becomes sort of uncanny when the CVT does not.
Technically a good idea. A CVT can keep the turbo boosting constantly, as opposed to a traditional gear box that causes the engine to drop RPM to shift.
“gears”
I, too, do a lot of hoping and very little buying.
It never even mentions that he WAS speeding. This Fenix guy is just making wild assumptions. Owning a radar detector does not automatically mean that you intentionally speed constantly.
I’d say that’s an gross exaggeration. I know plenty of people who have those detectors and they drive the universally common 5-over, or so. I’d agree that probably 99% of the drivers who have them speed a bit too much, but to say that they all drive at seriously excessive speeds is a poor assumption. Hell, those…
OHHHH I thought you meant in addition to the cost of the ticket
Yeah, I can’t figure this out, either. It’s driving me crazy. Lexus has some seriously good looking designs, if they were to just get rid of those grilles and tone down a couple more details. The IS is one of my favorite looking sedans out now, aside from that horrendous front end. But, as Cherry and Tacos said, the…
“Murdered out”
I think you mean TAKE it off. And pawn it. Because it is gaudy garbage that people with not taste buy. Just like obnoxiously large and sparkly jewelry!
I assumed he lost control while trying to take that left too fast. I know that I’m speculating, but given the details, the fact that it is a “show” cart that is, at least in his head, designed for high performance, and that he rarely drives it, it is my guess that he figured he would take it out for once and flogged…
How is it that people are more interested and excited about the next iPhone, as rectangular chunk of metal and glass, than they are about exciting, radically designed vehicles? The world is changing, and I feel like an old man. And I’m only 26!
