They are not scumbags, they are doing a job they are payed to do. Wrong people to be angry with, not saying some of them are not bad people, obviously there are bad people all over the place. But saying all border patrol agents are scumbags is just childish.

This lady is an asshole trying to malena viral video. The agents were polite, provided her with legal authority, and behaved professionally. Glad to know this blond white lady sees herself as a modern Rosa Parks, standing up for her sad brown friends.

Not necessarily. If one of his grandparents was passing, it’s not unreasonable for a down-the-line baby to have a substantially darker complexion than both parents and all siblings. Here’s where I stand on it: If he hadn’t broken into her car, she would not have tried to run him over. Unless you can convince me that she had been searching out someone to run over prior to that, then in my view, this guy’s fate was completely his own making.

Its because you, with extreme bias, go into the video wanting to view the officer as a monster as opposed to having no expectations for what is about to happen. You see what you want to see.

So riding the bus with them is helping them? I think riding the bus with these people and feeling holier than thou because of it makes you a misguided person.

If you’ve ever been on a bus in San Francisco, then you really hit the nail on the head, if indeed the “certain” people you’re referring to tend to scream at pigeons and are often covered in pee. Lived there for many years, and rode the bus as infrequently as possible for that reason.

I worked in transit security for several years. In several of the cities who were my customers, 25-40% of all the violent crime in the city took place on public transportation or at a public transportation facility. It’s not about “gentrification”, it’s about not drinking battery acid.

On occasion, I have to ride a bus in San Francisco. This puts me a in a position to completely understand the people who don’t want to ride a bus.

Really, what’s wrong with that? I’d ride the bus more in my city if fighting teenagers, drug addicts and bums asking for money were less common. Wanting to not deal with those doesn’t make you a bad person.
