You make them sound like horrible cars. They still beat the 1.5 turbos in practical fuel economy, and that super low rev gobs of torque is wonderful. No need to baby the throttle. The case for them is harder these days but it is by no means gone. No one is cross shopping a VW diesel with a Tesla.

The problem with the Aztek defense is that everything good about it could be had in the forgotten Buick Rendezvous, which also looked substantially better - even if it looked a lot like a shoe. The Aztek was an early CUV, and probably could have been decent if they didn’t fuck up the design, but don’t let them off the

I’m just throwing this out there - the Aztec wasn’t half bad. In fact it was pretty damn forward looking and revolutionary. I mean BMW, Mercedes and a whole host of other companies have basically riffed off of the basic ‘lifted, 5 door hatch’ theme with various X5GrandGLECoupe models. Except at least GM didn’t charge

She won’t even return my calls anymore.

That the complaint was filed with CAPS LOCK engaged tells me Corvette demographics aren’t changing.

This is little truck is an absolute unicorn.

Ah, the Nintendo sales model.

What the fuck are you smoking

A digital clock is faster and easier to read than an analog one, for sure.

“Any one of those 5 is better than any new car on market right now.”

My thoughts exactly. I would view it as a huge burden to have four non-functional vehicles taking up space and capital when all that’s really needed is a working daily. It’s also a little sad that he’s borrowing a car from his friend and is antsy to give it back, meaning his habits are now burdening his loved ones as

He should sell 2 or 3 of the cars he’s not using and expand his budget to fix the other(s). I don’t really understand the purpose of clinging to the other non-functioning vehicles if none of them work and he doesn’t have $ to fix them

Yeah, I would have voted CP had I not randomly seen a couple on Craigslist and looked into why in the hell a 20 years old ford SUV was being listed for $15k or something.

One of my best friends has one of these and so I recognize this is a NP. However, let me say something about this,

Prices are nuts because, as Rob mentioned, the 6.0 diesel that replaced this 7.3 is terrible. I’ve been casually shopping for these, and low mile versions are routinely priced at near double this one. It’s insane.

It only seats 8, has space for all your gear, and can tow whatever you want. It’s a specific vehicle for specific needs. And I need it.

Not if you actually want to tow and have all that interior volume there isn’t.

Unlimited power!!!

I saw a pic recently of an alternator hanging off the back passenger side of a Bolt with a V-belt connected to the rear passenger wheel. Can’t find it now of course.

A C8 Z06 would be a good place to start, methinks.
