As a liberal professor of writing (I’m sitting in my class RIGHT NOW), I would say that this is most closely related to “I use to do something”, and that it’s largely based on never seeing the word in print (i.e. reading), and when we pronounce “biased” and “used to”, we swallow the ends of the words.

In some ways, as an Independent, living in a deeply red state is a luxury. No matter what I vote, my state will go to whatever religious whack job they trot out against her, so I really don’t have a crisis of conscience. I loathe her for personal reasons and I dislike her politics, but the Democrats are dead set on

I’m 100% Hispanic but am very light skinned and grew up with a white last name (long story) but I think I’m just as capable of experiencing racial discrimination as my darker brothers and sisters. Because many white people have assumed I’m white, I’ve been privy to their racist comments against minorities because

The problem is not that she’s a white person leading an NAACP chapter. The problem is that she’s a white person who seemingly lied about being black and then headed an NAACP chapter.

I love Tastee so much and this arc last season was so devastating to watch, because it made so much sense for her character. She’s gone through life either ignored or manipulated and taken advantage of for her desire to just have some friends/family. Then, in prison, she has Poussey, who is finally the real friend and

says “females,” never fails

I think that’s part of it...also a “brush with fame” type thing is probably going on with some of the more famous serial killers. I doubt the unknown killers get nearly as much attention.

Glad someone else “went there”. I’d be fighting the urge.

It sounds like ending the relationship is probably best for everybody. As a Pregnant Lady [TM] I certainly sympathize with feelings of abandonment at a vulnerable time, and I also think the timing of all this is strange and curious. But mostly I hope that they both get the counseling they need and put violence behind

You’re not being fair, though, so it kind of reflects poorly on you that you’re judging people in this lazy way.

This is exactly what people mean when they say “patriarchy hurts men too”

See, the thing is, my husband read this book too and now is like “does this bring you joy?” and it’s like, no, this piece of tupperware is pretty joy-neutral, but not storing leftovers in my pocket is a net good. And I know that it’s summer and I won’t wear this red sweater for months, but I will in the fall and I

I know exactly what you mean. Many guys who have sex with girls change their minds about having sex right after they come.

No such thing is possible. In the Talmud, in the Jewish tradition, it says when that part of the male anatomy is aroused and there’s an erection, the brain flies out of that and we have to take that very seriously, so I don’t agree with that.

He made the movie:

Yes, this! I get that there are people with dozens of girlfriends and too many bridesmaids, but as a 26 year old woman, in a new city, no less, it has been way easier for me to date than to find girlfriends. I have one best girlfriend from college, but after college, when you don’t have shared experiences like classes

This might just be me, but I’m not really reading into what is causing the uproar around this quote. To me, this is saying that it is harder to make female friends than it is to find a man to sleep with.

I don’t normally coo over celeb babies, but damn if North isn’t one of the most adorable children I’ve ever seen! Just gorgeous! So anyway, I guess my answer is this baby wore it better.

The last Instagram post is so incredibly heartbreaking. Her body language is so descriptive. You can only imagine the life that is ahead of this poor child.
