ScarJo and Colin Jost. Hahahaaaa! Stop Marrying people in the biz, Scarlett.
Nice. There were SO many opportunities for a great sketch here. I can’t give this any marks. “The true reason for Christmas is husband” even fell flat.
That is a VERY interesting observation. If this kind of narrative is lulling folks into thinking “Everything gonna be OK,” we also have the massive allure (and content) of all the dystopian narratives reminding us that “You are fucked. Gear up and fight....
This was pretty underwhelming. The acting was really ‘wooden’ with zero ensemble synergy. I don’ think any amount of rehearsal could have saved this. Just Bad writing. SNL tries to stay topical before the outrage dies down. Just seems like they were rushing it and blew the opportunity.
Yeah, I didn’t even know uber sappy Hallmark even still made stuff for TV. Likely many cable subscribers ignore it unless they are getting the very bottom tier programming and will just turn anything on for ‘background’ noise/entertainment.
In terms of numbers they are only 3 million ahead of Millennials. Of course, keep in mind that Millennials will be joining the ranks of nasty, self-centered entitled old people sooner than they know. When you put hatred out into the universe it will be there waiting for you.
Just dismiss whatever this person posts. There’s no actual ‘cognition’ there. They just cruise through threads on all of the sites looking for something to whine “well what about THIS? Huh? Huh?” It’s like dealing with a toddler at bedtime.
I watched the movie Disobedience on HBO. It was fascinating from beginning to end; and a reminder to not ignore your deepest desires forever. The sex scene between Weisz and McAdams (with the help of director Sebastian Lelio) was really amazing too. But the ‘spit sharing part’ was just a bit too much for me. Just a…
Sounds pretty fly. I was curious about the Shadowscene FYLF poster: wondering what the FYLF meant:)
I don’t know if everyone has a Dollar Tree store in their towns, but at ours you can get 2 for $1 and most of them are VERY funny. It’s worth it to stop in and just grab a bunch for ‘every occasion’.
Good point. One does have to let go eventually. But not until he’s gone.
lol
No.
Yes. And dads with guns; dads who give their daughters guns for their birthdays (my brother in law did this).
Nice hats. I never leave home without one, but mine will have the odd posy or a bit of ribbon ;)
Their cards have always been terrible. The few times I was in pinch for time with no other alternatives I actually hated myself for buying them.
Well that led me down a rabbit hole. Apparently ‘Conversion Therapy’ is banned for minors in only 18 states - mine, one of them, thank goodness. No wonder young people are terrified of coming out.
I mentioned up thread that I have been giving my Postal Deliverer a fiver in an envelope for years (hoping he would - you know - not drop my Amazon packages).
Lol, you again; bleating shit that no one said.
