In the Minneapolis area your typical chain style or mom&pop shop often use the pooling method. But it's not usually between servers, it's typically between server, bartender, and busser/runner.

Talk radio? These days if you miss the live show it's old news.
I have three accounts. National chain checking, local checking (which serves as a savings account), and an online savings account for my "emergency fund". I find this setup has worked well for me considering I buy everything on credit and pay the bills when due.
RadioLab podcasts, don't leave home without 'em.
As a gun shop employee I can say that is definitely not the case with us. Getting muzzled is never fun, or just another happening.
I think they're pretty durable, the memo books will crease though. I really like the expedition memo books and their regular steno notebooks are really nice.
Are you paying for the VPN, or is this a free service you're using? I'd love to cut the cable and use gamecenter for NHL, but what good does it do me if I'm blacked out for all my teams games?
In business you need the paper. Sadly, from my experience a BA or MBA doesn't even mean much from a talent or knowledge standpoint. Unfortunately it means a whole lot to the hiring manager that you have that piece of paper just to get an interview.
Day job digs.
I just starting using Scrivener, it seems like an amazing tool so far.
That's the thing, spend money now when young to do/have fun things. Or put it all in savings so you can live when you retire. And being fairly young, will I ever even retire? Seems like the retirement age just goes up and up, I probably won't retire until 80+!
My biggest problem with taking time off is the amount of work to which I return. I'm fine having Saturdays and Sundays off if I only have to work a straight 40 hour week. If I take time I get buried in work, no one else does my job and my customer's expectations don't change just because I was out. Hell I come into…
Typically 6 during the work-week, sometimes less. If I don't have to get up Saturdays/Sundays I get about 10.
I could never handle a refined writing instrument, I lose pens so often it's ridiculous. A pricey pen would not decrease that loss rate.
Back when I used flash drives all the time they would eventually lose storage space from writing and deleting files. My favorite trick was to take back dead storage space by backing up the files and yanking that sucker before ejecting. Then when you reformat, you regain that missing storage space.
Gift giving for the sake of it bugs the crap out of me. I especially hate birthdays and Christmas.
Really? I have customers who don't have e-mail or fax machines!
Neat idea, I was kinda hoping it would be for the glass door though.
VOTE: Any DE safety razor, though I rock a Gillette '55 with bay doors.
I make a point to hit the gym every work day on my lunch "hour". Typically 12 PM until 1:00 PM, then I eat lunch while returning e-mails. I will often times then put 10-15 miles on my bike once or twice a week either after work or on a weekend day. I've found that working out in the AM doesn't feel right and I'm often…
