We need to start taking away more drivers licenses. It would be nice if police spend time ticking people for not using a turn single, or for yielding their right of way. You know the things that make them unpredictable to other drivers. Sadly catching the speeder seems to have more thrill.

There has to be a point of diminishing returns when it comes to safety. We’ve gone safety crazy, thinking tech is the only way to be safe. So now we have back up cameras, air bags everywhere, cars that break (pun intended) themselves...but does anyone calculate the cost of these over the life of the cars? Wouldn’t it…

Furloughs are the reasons not to get a government job. But the average car on the road is heavier and bigger then they used to be. More heavy cars are sold today then before regardless of which class the vehicles are in. Just look at the number of SUVs, CUV, and trucks.

Maybe the 18 year old has some carting experience and 100mph just doesn’t feel that fast in a normal car.

Wonder what this cop would do in states with 80 or 85mph speed limits. 100 isn’t that fast in a modern car...maybe the road condition and people on it made it worst.....or the shape of the car the 18 year old was in.

The tolls are higher for larger vehicles, and the tolls are free for cars with enough people. Why are you Ok with this on road ways but not on the internet?
Shouldn’t medical data packets be able to get priority over Netflix? what about autonomous car communication? With net neutrality we can’t give priority to…

What about Highway Neutrality? Can we ban Carpool and HOV lanes as well as paid express lanes?

Why does the net need to be more neutral than our road ways? We all pay taxes for road ways, no one has paid taxes to lay fiber optics for the internet....sure we paid for some military stuff.

I’m pretty sure at least one of the shift managers at the Chick-Fil-A by me is gay, and he doesn’t feel the need to hide it at work. I get that their founder is a bigot but he no longer even runs the company. If the store employees can get over it I think the rest of us can.
