This was similarly the same over at Ford in 2006. Ford Australia developed the Territory Crossover in 2005, based on the Falcon platform-approximately the same time Ford US unveiled the 500-based Freestyle crossover. Both the Territory and Freestyle showed up at the same time during a global product unveiling in

Yeah, it was a wagon though.

Call me when they do something stupid like put those quilted seats (which actually seem pretty awesome) in a Camaro and call it the new GSX.

Save the electric stuff for the Family SUVs and sedans. I don’t see a reason why gas can’t continue with these low volume sports cars, maybe in a hybrid fashion.

This is one of the most saturated parts of the automotive market right now. Just get a copy of Consumer Reports and buy whatever they say is the best crossover under 30k. Test drive it first to make sure you fit. The end.

It literally looks like hell.

There are plenty of truck stops with several restaurants and they have been around for years. They have seating and stuff that would make the time to EV charge more pleasant than standing around a gas station. There could be chargers at those places and places like them. I know restaurants off the highway that have

my friends selling his full fanatec setup for about half what it would cost new. if i buy another wheel i might as well. i got the g27 for the cost of a gopro hd2 and that only cost me 150. i didnt need the gopro anymore and the dude didnt need the wheel.

Toyota, to their credit, actually have a bunch of decent colors for the Tacoma that are not just variations of metallic gray. Good on them. Totally not digging this one (before you called it ‘Gatorade vomit’ it reminded me of the oozing radioactive slime in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - I’d say your description

It was only resource intensive for them back then because they insisted on a completely different CPU architecture every generation until the 4 and 5.

There is actually a strangely high volume of Cross Cabs in Minneapolis. I see one on a fairly regular basis near my home, and there’s at least 4-5 others I see on a ~monthly basis. It’s weird.

In unrelated news, a Murano CrossCabriolet just drove by my work with the top down.

They do have backwards compatibility on this gen, but nobody can buy their newest console. It’s been 7 months and I don’t know a soul that has one

Not digging the Mt. Dew Yellow, but those UCA’s are a great add. When you lift the Tacoma beyond 2 inches up front you are really stressing the ball angle and limiting your down travel. This should be a well tuned and good system.  I hope they do something with the traction control system though, it really limits fun

You’d be surprised how cold “shorts-weather” is for people in northern climates.

Fixing the outgoing model’s weird torque curve/powerband probably goes much further than the actual increase in power.

People complained, rightfully, about the weird dip in the middle of the power curve. If they fix that, it’ll be fine.

Counterpoint: it’s literally slower than a Camry.

Listen buddy if I can’t show off a meaningless number on a spreadsheet then it’s not a real sportscar. Driving enjoyment? Real sportscars are for one-upping people at C&C.

Tesla DID offer swappable batteries. They even showcased and built battery swapping stations that could do it in <10 minutes, if I recall correctly.
