This episode was the best use of McGowan so far. For most of his time this season, they haven't used McGowan's considerable charm, so I'm glad they didn't miss that.
So they took Mace's corpse, beat it to a pulp, and dropped it in the ocean? That's fucked up.

You can catch up! You can laugh at the hilariously 90's-ness of it while still enjoying the strong character work.
A loving homage to Sex and the City was exactly what I needed.
I also forgot she was in the AMAZING Difficult People, which was a dumb oversight.
She's great on Twitter, seems genuine and funny. I wish she was in something besides Empire, because that show is too much.
