People sue for the light pole thing a lot. We (the landscape architect) got sued because a man came out of a bar at 3 am, drunk, and tripped over a landscape boulder 5' out into a planting bed. We settled. There has to be a way to penalize flagrant litigation without scaring off legitimate cases.

These numbers are always staggering, but they aren’t honest figures. You sue for 15,000,000 knowing that the company will offer a $250,000 settlement without court precedings. People just try to scare you into taking a larger settlement than the courts would give.

I believe these are both supposed to be per week rates.

I steer a lot of my friends who are looking at buying cars to your articles. There’s a serious disconnect between what you can afford and what you should buy that a lot of people just don’t understand. Personal finance is a rarely taught subject, so these posts are always welcome!

Although on second look maybe it’s just the polarization? All the windshields are the same color?

I didnt even notice the window shade. 100% in on it.

My guess is they are in on it. They showed up just before the theft, all got out and sort of shuffled around not going anywhere in particular, and the one lady even spoke to the forklift operator. Perhaps they are there to act as witnesses and when they are found will just say “Yea, it looked weird but he said it was

I owe all my car love to this movie. I use it as a measuring stick for new friends and any girl I date. It’s easy to assume it’s going to be backwards and insensitive because its older and redneckish, yet it really has aged well. A true masterpiece.

I had a jeep shipped from california to texas and it took my almost a month of everyday calls to find a carrier I trusted at all. I ended up calling the same place 4-5 times and asking about my quote to see if they even had me in the system and by the last time i called the front desk lady (the same lady all 4 times i

I never watched Tron, but I did really enjoy Legacy. It’s a really good background movie with Olivia Wilde. Sold.

I don’t think FSJ’s came with dedicated grounds until the 90's so you’re intermittent gauges are almost certainly spotty grounds. The trannys always run hot in these too, so if you added a cooler you should be good to go.

For real. I have an ‘85 CJ with pretty basic coverage for $900 a year and its worth like...40 bucks (to the insurance company).

Sara Price just traded in her RZR for a Trophy Spec Truck with RPM racing. Shes been killing it lately!

Seriously. I want/need some heavier equipment but finding decent reviews on the lesser known brands are almost impossible.

I am generally nonplussed by wheels, but oooo those do a thing for me.

I really just try to bring it up so that whoever the lucky bastard was that got it will tell me if it was really good or not. I know they’re out there.

I’ve got really terrible news for you cause there was a way cleaner, better kept version on Austin CL for like 2 months this winter for about 3k. I went and looked at it and it was the real deal. Sadly, I had just bought a different so I couldn’t buy it in good conscience. Guy moved across country and ended up selling

I left a set of vise grips clipped onto the underside of a tractor hood cover and they rattled off the cover and into the fan about 5 hours later. No bueno.

All construction projects, no matter how ambitious, are subject to compounding errors that lead to catastrophic failure.
