I love how you think it’s an incel movie while the anti-incel people love it for being an unashamedly queer movie. This includes Tom Hardy himself who wrote in a “Venom coming out scene” and of course various people both in and outside the production call this a love story.

It’s also a case of it being a sequel to one of 2018's biggest box office hit.

To be fair, Venom has a reputation as a “hot garbage” the same way Donald Trump is widely known as “America’s saviour”, in the sense that a lot of people really think that and still do but they are not the majority.

There are monsters that make people who see them commit suicide. So the characters have to cover their eyes for most of the movie. The movie never show you these monsters. It’s based on a book. That’s about it.

Do they pretend that? As far as I know, Netflix’s main reputation is that they throw around money like crazy on their star productions.
