I do, but I also don’t think any automotive engineer is going to couple that drive axle with a steering mechanism able to take it to detrimental angles. And without that drive axle the steering angle limits would be practically the same.

This guy annoys me with his broad stroke ‘Bugatti engineering = Lamborghini engineering’ reasoning. ALL vehicles with four-wheel-drive and/or all-wheel-drive share some significant architecture similarities underneath. Yes! My ‘97 GTI VR6 was always a good powertrain in need of a better car. Purchased new in May of ‘97 and drove it almost 200k miles on the original clutch and timing chains, including lots of SCCA Autocross and PCA Time Trial miles in the first several years.

As the 13yr owner of a MkIII GTI VR6 I wholeheartedly agree.
