I disagree; this person tried to run people over several times because they threw something at their car, failed several times, and instead caused more damage to their car. That is an asshole AND a moron.

I’d guess that they saw it more as an obstacle than a van. They were totally focused on the suspect. I’m amused that only one cop thought to follow him up onto the van.
As for why they didn’t check on the driver, he was starting to drive off and they likely assumed they were fine because of that. They likely wouldn’t…
