Down side to the Wagoneers, is they can get expensive thanks to collector status, and are only 5-seater (unless you can find the unobtanium rear-facing seat). You’d have to go somewhere like WagonMasters to get a PRISTINE, restored, Grand Wagoneer, and they’re not cheap…

I think the biggest issue people have, is that they’re not seamless yet, and result in a little lag on the ‘start’-ing part of that; to the point of noticing that the stop/start exists, unlike marketing would have you believe. lol

Wouldn’t call it a white-wash so much as an adaptation. They changed a lot of the characteristics of the main characters. I think the only thing they kept the same was Ryuk, and even then.. it’s off.
What they should’ve done, was make this kid a new owner of the Deathnote, instead of forcing the original storyline…
