Yes! Smarmy is the word to discribe him. He was essentially the boss' pet and helped kill some better shows. Good riddance.

@olivececile:disqus Ok, you're swaying me. I see those things. I also remember the story about Maggie hiding under her ex-boyfriend's(?) bed while he had sex with another woman. That's extreme low self-esteem. Hopefully Sorkin moves away from the neuroticism soon.

So any Red comedians or funny writers you can mention? Try harder. PJ O'Rourke doesn't count. Dennis Miller's out too. You could try Frank Miller, who sometimes says unintentionally funny things. Anne Coulter also thinks she's an insult comic, but resoundingly not funny.
