Come on AA Dowd, Doc Holiday is not a genre!
It's a little-seen movie that no one in today's generation knows about and it's not a theme that's been done much at all

I love Pixar's Cars logic. I would click on this 100 million times.

Heere's the funny thing. I have a crappy dvd player on my computer and am without internet at my pool, so I can't download new software, so I've been trying to play Cars 2 over and over and over. I've made it about 55 minutes in but every few minutes, the DV'D's in danger of stopping

I enjoyed the Karate Kid. I tend to think of Avildsen and Robert Benton as the two objectively least accomplished directors to win the Best Directors to win the award. Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner both made very few movies but at least I feel like they were more visionaries.

thank you, whoever put this on youtube, and fuck you, NBC for cancelling the show and not even bothering to air the remaining episodes AFTER hyping it up for months beforehand

That sounds like an endorsement of Mitt Romney

Pretty sure this is inaccurate….beastie boys, run dmc, I believe Tupac, and wutang clan are in the HOF.

Ahhh! Someone else remembers Gary Hall Jr, very very cool.

I never said I didn't like them. I suppose I like them, just wouldn't feel like I should express an opinion if I were in their shoes

because she's interviewing a bad person?

How is this thread already nine hours old?
Anyways, I'm a TV/movies expert and writer, and I would never feel qualified opining on a music question without say understanding lots of music theory and all that. I'm wondering why many of these people (movie/tv writers) feel qualified to dive in to such things. I like a

well
1) That's what Newswires do
2) It is her project, he didn't make it up out of thin air
and
3) Charlie's Angels isn't an awful thing to do. It makes money, it shows women kicking ass, it's not like the film has come out

Charlie's Angels is much preferrable to, say Baywatch, in terms of showing kickass women. I've admired the careers of Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu (she does a lot of charitable work for the Asian-American community) and Drew Barrymore as well and they were a lot of fun when they did the press tour of that film.

I can understand where Banks is coming from and support her but the promotion of opportunities for women doesn't mean you have to attack people who don't make female-led movies if they doesn't gravitate towards those kinds of leads (Spielberg's films often a way to grapple with issues that he himself faces as a kid),

No, people pressuring the advertisers to drop Megan Kelly or the advertisers themselves if they're acting on liberal instincts

It should be noted that any time I've ever had a question about one of Adam Ruins Everything shows, I just shout it out on twitter and Adam responds personally, he's very good at interacting with viewers of the show, so thanks Adam.

So we know you're a lover of knowledge and conspiracy theories from a family of phd wonks, how did you translate that into comedy and a highly competitive environment like CollegeHumor?
