Somebody should have informed them that

I’d still love to have Slayer perform at the Super Bowl or a Thanksgiving game and perform “Mandatory Suicide” and “Expendable Youth.

Sadly, if the pay is decent, I know a lot of musicians who would take it in a heartbeat.

You guys don’t get it. It’s not about playing in front of big crowds and selling lots of records. It’s about the soul-crushing, mayonnaise-bland, tortuous music.

“BRC owner Stephen Gore...”

I agree with your sentiment, but I would say “Denouncing racism and bigotry unequivocally ≠ talking about politics = good whether anyone calls it politics or not”.

Fuck that, let him make a bonkers Star Trek.

Is that so bizarre?  I mean, the guy who starred in Boosom Buddies and Splash won back to back Oscars and is considered one of the finest actors of his generation.

How has Harrelson not yet achieved national treasure status? He was in a hit TV show, has a string of hit movies across multiple decades, has a Willie Nelson-esque love of weed, and is a pretty big supporter of environmental and leftie causes.

Okay, I get why these things are held publicly and why the fighters need to be visible (part publicity part “you only believe what you see”) but why in the fuck do we have to use a doctor’s scale from the 1920's with the sad ass UFC shower curtain? Ah, the same approach as for that Catwoman film. I’m sure this will be equally successful and beloved.

I can’t imagine anyone will quarrel with this prudent departure from source material.

So I appreciate the Kotaku is questioning these situations, but it doesn’t help your case when immediately following the article there are “recommended” examples of Kotaku openly glorifying these “pop offs”. Like maybe we stop celebrating these?

Janet Weiss beat the living shit out of a drum kit on SK’s roster and it is extremely punk of her to tap out when the band is going as commercial as possible..

Never go full Barstool.

Now playing

P.E. let us all know about them a long time ago.

This happens from time to time on far-right political blogs too. Turns out that trying to judge where the line is between "offensive" and "so offensive we have to blame someone" is hard to identify, especially for a$$holes.

It's pretty telling that every time they fuck up the higher ups claim no editorial responsibility and just blame the lowest level person. Shitbags, every one of them.
