Glenn is not dead.

I thought all the same things and was waiting for the zombies to get to him or for him to roll away. I never thought from the way the scene looked that it was Glenn getting eviscerated.

Whether or not Glenn is dead, it has to be Nicholas getting chewed up. He fell on top of Glenn and we never see his body.

I suppose if/when they show us how Glenn survives it could be a pivot in the arc of this season. Things are about as bleak as they can get for Rick's gang and the Alexandrians. Having it turn around and be that Glenn's faith in Nicholas saved him instead of killing him could be — well, like I said, a pivot.

As opposed to the not unstoppable character he is now?

I think that he's not dead and that the idea of making it look like he was dead came up in editing. Which is why they haven't taken more pains to hide his set appearances and why there seems to be a bit of a scramble on everyone's part concerning how to spin it to the media.

The Alexandrians were freaked out when Rick had to do that at the beginning of the episode. They aren't where they need to be yet with that kind of stuff, and Rick's gang loses credibility with them when they do it. That was my take.

When he encountered those three zombies on the road the first time we saw him running by himself he killed the last one kind of flamboyantly and cut himself in the process.

I don't sit through TD but I remember the first couple of minutes of it after Beth died were like a funeral. I mean, there may actually have been organ music playing. The first couple of minutes after tonight's episode were … off.

It means Glenn is the son of Rick and Andrea.
