I think the same thing, and also that the media typically gives a pass for mental health issues when it’s a broken young (usually white) girl, where as with men it feels like we only hear about their struggles when they get arrested or are dead. Or their struggles aren’t framed as such and instead are used to feed

There are all sorts of lousy double standards about who’s an acceptable target when a celebrity is pretty obviously having mental health issues.

Dunno, looks like he plans to stay here (NYC) basically year round.

Trapped might also still be available on the pbs app or pbs website.

They also backed this up with a wikileaks email and Russia Today video about Soros funding move on. Organizing protests is also paying protesters or something. (Long draw out argument on my Facebook wall with die hard Trump supporter with poor critical thinking skills who thinks Hillary supporters are sheep.)

G’luck with them and your poor cousin.

:/ I’m spending this weekend with people who may be voted for Trump and have a teenage son who is a diehard Trump fan and they’re people I like but I’m debating just how much I’m gonna let myself talk politics ‘cause on the one hand I can’t but on the other I do wanna shame my fellow Jews for voting in the guy who

You can get around the paywall by opening it in a private window. The NYT argues that Hedges v. Obama could be used to set precedent on the matter and effectively overrule Korematsu but that article was from 2014 and it seems like the Supreme Court declined to hear the case.

My Clinton buttons came in after the election was over and are now living on my bookbag ‘cause that seemed more practical than a safety pin.

It’s not just Israel though. Like 10 years back the Ortho comunnity tended to not give a damn about social issues outside their own community and not even so much in their own and now pro-life groups advertise in the Jewish magazines and I’m hearing kids go off on homophobic tears. In some ways what’s most frustrating

Hard right orthodox Jews got coopted by the evangelicals for reasons I will never quite understand and so tend to vote Republican and spout all those talking points.

I hate some of my coreligionists at the moment. Like they’re complicit ‘cause they got in bed with the evangelicals and are doubling down ‘cause the communities have gotten so damn insular, and the education so watered down, that racism and xenophobia flourish.

On Twitter either a true believer or troll was doing weird backflips about how Trump’s children aren’t all married to Jews (they basically are) and I’m now wondering what the Trump fans will do if that information starts making the alt-right rounds. The apologists just use that info of evidence that Trump isn’t

Christie put Kushner’s dad in jail for fraud like 10 years ago, so Kushner’s been working extra hard to get Christie out.

And please pardon Snowden cause he was one of the few people not associated with the Democrats to criticize wikileaks. And ‘cause it’d be good of you to take away Putin’s pawn before Trump comes to power.

Sigh, again not claiming that any one group is more responsible than any other group. Like I agree that part of the onus is on the compaign, and it did seem to be too quick to dismiss domain experts in favor of data. But yes, I’m also gonna judge anyone who didn’t want Trump in office but chose not to vote for HRC

I’m not talking about the party itself (and therefore Bernie) so much as the people to the left of the party. And they’re not negligible since many of them voted green or abstained from voting as conscientious objectors this cycle. And as for your other comment, I really don’t lay all the blame at the feet of

Democrats don’t, but Republicans sure as hell do.

You can even see this in NYC. Our most homogeneous suburb like borough (Staten Island) always goes red and went even redder this election.
