Sorry to hear about your experience - sounds to me like you got the shaft from a dickhead manager. In this particular case, no....was not a white guy. Some managers are just trustworthy - guarantee this won’t end well for the management staff who let the guy go with the inventory.

“In America” is so broad that I can’t give you an honest answer. The answer you want is “Of course not. Only racists fly that here!” but the reality is that this nation has 330+MM people in it - some of us (me included) understand the historical significance of it. A derivative of the Iron Cross is still used today

This started off civil but you went ad hominem on this by calling me dense, so I’ll respond appropriately, ya fuckwit.

Seems like the CEO of Ford disagrees with your take Re: target demographic. As someone who’s owned multiple LR’s, I know what these vehicles are capable of. If the CEO of Ford views them as potential conquests, then I think it’s fair to say they’re trying to come for individuals such as myself; they won’t succeed, but

Right? Here’s drift mode, but don’t use it to actually drift an entire lap because the Haldex can’t handle it. K Thnx.

I disagree. There are plenty of companies that stand behind their claims of performance. GM will not void your warranty if you use the car as intended (Looking at you Ford and Nissan) and even goes as far to provide track alignment specs in their manuals. Land Rover is another company that does honest marketing -

You’re not wrong Re: Journalists. However, I think you’d be surprised at just how many people genuinely push their 4x4 out there. To have an overheating event in mild temperatures isn’t exactly good news, is it? If an OEM has a launch event at a track and a car subsequently overheats after 15 minutes of use, wouldn’t

Yes, that’s been known to happen when the vehicle strikes a curb. Same with the Colorado ZR2's when taken on some pretty harsh trails.

That’s the logical answer. I don’t blame them for making the choice they made, but I am allowed to be disappointed. Frankly though, it’s still a major mistake on Ford’s part if the vehicle failed with journalists - they should’ve predicted this.

I’m quite familiar with it. The C7 Z06 had multiple cooling issues, but that was kinda a rare instance for a GM performance product, eh no? The major debacle involving MT’s C7 at Laguna turned out to be a supercharger coolant connector that came undone, but that still doesn’t negate the dozens of owners on forums

Your comment is partially true - his overall approval rating is 49%. The 62%figure relates exclusively to his handling of the pandemic - honestly, it should be there considering vaccines are now publicly available. He lags behind Trump with regards to “The Economy” - whatever we’ve agreed that term means now as 2020

Honestly, there’s probably a good amount of cost to be saved here by returning to a small block LS/LT motor instead of the flat plane crank motor they have in the car now - something that was obviously done for R&D and to market the upcoming C8 Z06. Market the GT3 car as a Z51 and you’re in business.

OK. I always come out here doing my best to have a civilized conversation, but not today; today we choose violence. Fuck this noise and fuck the tone of this article.

Extremely well written.

I initially came here to point out that the article that was linked from Rolling Stone has a comment section that is absolutely *FIRE*. It’s a level of hatred towards an author that I haven’t seen anywhere but on this very site. I’m sure there are dozens of other Ngo-hate pieces you could’ve chosen, but the fact that

I agree with you. However, this is a strategy previously implemented by Porsche and it actually worked well for them until they figured out that SUVs were the real profit center.

I just want to make it clear here: The Iron Cross pre-dates Nazi Germany and is not by its very nature a Nazi symbol.

Yeah, they’re Fifteen52's Tarmac model. Ken Block ran them in his early Gymkhana Fiesta videos.

Humor me, for the sake of a friendly F1 discussion. Is Haas’ livery the worst instance of a team “circumventing international sporting regulations” in 2021? Where do you stand on McLaren and Ferrari once again making tobacco companies their primary sponsors for 2021?

1st Gear: I’m genuinely disappointed in Ford’s approach to marketing the Mach E; they missed some great opportunities to do a retro themed World’s Fair ad campaign equating the Mach E to the 1964 launch. Corny? Maybe, but I genuinely believe this is the most important car for Ford since the original Mustang. Hear me
