Oh. You’re one of those people...who doesn’t understand what the DM is there for.
You are correct, that D&D can be about whatever you want it to be. There are also official stories (adventure paths) that you can purchase that take you through a guided story, from start to finish.
This seems more to just be about having gay nonplayer characters in the official campaigns, not encouraging players to make their characters gay. That said, a DM can make the NPCs whatever they want, regardless of what they are in the campaign by default.
I suppose this is talking more about the pre-designed adventure paths and not home-brewed campaigns but I’ve always found D&D (and table top games as a whole) to actually be very LGBTQ positive and accepting. If I remember correctly, the player handbook (back before the 5th ed mentioned here :) ) specifically mentions…
Before anyone starts bitching about SJWs and movements for inclusivity hurting their pretendy-funtimes without remembering that, ultimately, DnD is a game based around cooperation:
I really liked that Colleen refused to be benched at the police station once she knew the final fight was going to go down. She is a Defender, dammit!
....I only use bralettes (maybe that’s not what they’re meant for?) as a layer for when you’re supposed to wear a cami underneath a gossamer-thin top except I don’t want the extra fucking layer...
Yeah, I wear blouses from Kohl’s and Ann Taylor to work every day with dress pants. I think Vogue doesn’t realize not all of have been allowed to wear t-shirts and jeans to work so “dressy tops” aren’t exactly a comeback item.
Oh, so the previous comments didn’t merge. Or maybe they’re in the process? I don’t know. This new site feels like a huge step backwards in order to achieve corporate synergy that only benefits the company and not the users.
if I never see a “fancy” polyester satin camisole with jeans and stiletto heels again in my life I will be something remotely approaching happy.
Also when Stick arrives for Royal Dragon exposition dump and name-drops The Chaste & JJ exasperates, “I’m done with all these names” (paraphrasing). Representing 100% of fans who want more punching / less convoluted mythology.
I love when Jessica reverts to her “valley Girl / the “B” from APT 2b” character when trying to act all cutesy and nice when in “disguise”
The line she delivered that I laughed at the most was actually this:
Woman answering door: “What time is it?”
Jessica: Late. Or early, depending on your life choices.
But just imagine what they could have taught you about drinking...
WHY AREN’T WE TALKING ABOUT DRAKE’S ICE-CUBE-FILLED GLASS OF ROSE? YOU GUYS????
I’m not a big NFL fan or anything, but IMHO, anyone who is old enough to have dodged the draft and can still be competitive at professional sports deserves at least some kind of respect.
There is no “Draft” to dodge. Except the NFL Draft. And these fools got drafted by the Browns. The BROWNS. It’s like the Afghanistan of NFL teams.
