Did you read the article about the man in Korea that started another small wave of infection? He went to a few clubs and about 100 people got infected, which resulted in South Korea closing them again

I am a party girl, through and through. I long to feel the bass in my chest. But when my friend sent me an email saying that a bar we frequent was going to open back up, my only thought was “I think the fuck not!” There is no way I would feel comfortable sitting in a freaking basement with no fresh air right now. So Read more

No, judging by those lovely fitness pics of him that was going around a few years ago, he probably is in good shape and was very likely asymptomatic.

No, I have not. I would like it to be blinged out, ships from Europe, and has a fabric backing that will actually, do the job a mask is supposed to do. Depending on how long this mask rule lasts, I may attempt to make it myself

I so want a rhinestone mask. Like seriously, I’ve been scouring etsy trying to find the one with maximum bling

I went to India last year and the people were simple lovely to me, a dark African American woman with tight kinky hair (4c for life). I was mostly in the south and received compliments on my earrings (everyone thought they were bamboo even though they were plastic from H&M) and general style. I was told that Indians Read more

Like your sister, I am convinced I had it. Unlike your sister, I traveled extensively around Europe, by bus and train, through the countries that were experiencing it the worst and even had to self isolate until my very mild symptoms were gone for a full 7 days. But I still wear my mask when I go out in public Read more

My boss, who I deeply admired, tried to say it was like the flu and we need to get back to business (I’m not in the US btw) and I was so shocked. I had to explain that while the flu may have killed more people in total, the flu has been around much longer. And most are annual rates. Covid-19 has been around for 5 Read more

Do it! Seriously, it’s a great city and filled with green spaces. Plus the beer is delicious, if you drink. Even if it’s not Munich, I encourage everyone to get out of the US if they have the opportunity to. Things are going to get much worse than people realize and I don’t see an upturn happening again in about 50 Read more

I’m not sure that’s much better since that means rape has been normalized in their household. I won’t even put statutory in front because it was rape, plain and simple

I honestly have never been more disappointed in an artist. Her concert at Central Park was free, so perhaps her lack of enthusiasm could be attributed to that. But Roskilde is the largest festival in western europe and has had major artists, like Rolling Stones and Bjork, headline. And she was just as terrible. My Read more

The only thing I can add to this conversation is (besides the question of why the hell am I grey?!?! I made it to the majors and someone took away my sponsorship) this:

Me too. I think what she did to him was awful and borders on unforgivable. Like, it is terrible that you molested a child, which by itself will have life long implications. But then you got fucking pregnant with his child, several times!!!! WTF?! Like, let’s create a living, breathing reminder of you physical Read more
