There was a mode in the 3DS Mario tennis game where you played against a wall that had 2D platform Mario running on it, making sure he made it past turtles and stuff by bonking them with your tennis ball. That mode was super fun, but painfully short. I hope “Adventure Mode” is a lot more of that.
