I was referring to the drop in torque. Power wasn’t the correct word to use. It is a drop in work if we want to be scientific. I am not going to start an entire argument about the toque dip with the GT86 cars. It is what it is.

I just was pointing out a NA engine that sucks. The car would have been fine with a 2.0T or a NA engine that doesn’t drop power on you. I don’t have any hate or animosity toward the GT86 cars.

I’m not sure how the old 6.2L V8 is more absurd than a 510 hp and 516 ft-lb turbo V8 monster. The current C63S matches the HP and has way more torque than the out going Black Series. If another black series is on the table (it probably is) who knows what kind of insane numbers it will have. That sounds pretty absurd…

The issues with the physical car is only a problem with the Z06.

In these very comments a guy is in here talking about how supercharging was bad from the “get go”. Yet he seems to completely forget the ZR1 was supercharged and ruined a lot of supercar’s days. The supercharging isn’t the issue. The issue is that GM clearly fucked this one up.

Even if he is actually joking there are still people out there who cry about anything that isn’t NA.

This is only an issue with the Z06. It is irrelevant to the base C7.

Orlove is hating on forced induction, but completely looks over when it is done correctly. Anything can suck if the engine isn’t made properly. The GT86 has a naturally aspirated engine that sucks.
