He won the 24 hours Daytona in 2013 (his 3rd time) and won the Indy 500 this year (his 2nd time). Endurance clearly is not an issue at his age.
I think it is possible to do both, but it isn’t ideal.
Oh yes, I agree that defending a 24LM win is a bigger deal, but I also understand that his primary job is in F1. He is crucial to the team, and a podium is a possibility for Force India.
He has a lot of time and we know he is good at endurance racing. The only issue is that the longer he waits to jump in with Porsche the less of a dominant car he will have.
It would be cool to see him with Hulkenberg, but last time I checked Montoya said 2016 was not a possibility. Probably so all the 3rd car drivers could defend their title. But if Hulkenberg can’t race, maybe just maybe Montoya can get in there.
His teammate has been on the podium several times. Hulk could luck his way on to a podium if he did a little better.
This guy has no idea what he is talking about. Literally no idea. He is embarrassing himself and digging a bigger hole.
Hahaha and you want to criticize for companies not racing. Wow, please stop. Got sit down before it gets worse.
Are you talking about actually buying GT3 cars from a dealership or buying production versions of racecars? Because the M6 is sold as a GT3 racecar and a production car. It is the exact same thing Audi does with the R8, Ferrari with the 488, Porsche with the 911, Lamborghini with the Huracan and Mercedes does with the…
You want to be able to buy racecars from dealerships? That doesn’t even make sense. BMW makes racecars. Go sit down somewhere.
But I’d still drive the shit out of an M2.
The rear bumper looks terrible. From the side it sticks out way too far. On top of that the reflector/fake vents back there look ugly. It looks like the X6M someone posted on the previous post.
Audi, needs to be a lot more intelligent with RS cars in the US. An RS3 sedan, RS4 sedan. and RS6 sedan would be good for the US when the RS5 and TT RS come. They need a coupe and sedan for every size in the United States.
I prefer coupes as well so an RS3 cab would be interesting. I am not a fan of convertibles, but…
That commercial drives me nuts watching F1 races. But yeah a $50k+ luxury brand car better have a damn back up camera. That is kind of ridiculous.
I agree now that we have that out of the way. What about an RS3 sedan coming to the US? Some source are saying Audi confirms it is coming.
Yeah I think the RS3 looks better and the TT RS will look better, but I can’t say the CLA45 looks better. The CLA makes me want to vomit when I see it. In every single engine package available it looks terrible.
Sure it will drive fine. That is a given. The rear bumper with fake vents/reflectors and the shitty mirrors look pretty bad. Plus the rear bumper sticks out too far in my eyes. I expected it to look better.
More coupes in the world is always a good thing though.
In a list of options it says “Seat Adjustm, Electr. W. Memory”. I guess we will have to wait for it to show up on the US website to really find out, but a 50k car without electric seats is nuts. The back up camera is also an option, which is insane because that is standard on really cheap ass cars now. That is “cray…
