I read each of the Ramona books every September with my boys, so my youngest son and Ramona are always the same age. The second film aired here in Canada in February of this year. It was called "Anne of Green Gables: The Good Stars." The final movie is "AoGG: Fire & Dew" and will air next year.

What I like about McNulty's casting is that Anne is supposed to be, let's say, not the cutest, maybe? She isn't a goblin by any stretch, but she feels more like a gangly, awkward (allegedly) homely girl.

It is a three movie series though. The first two have aired in Canada.
